NYX Cosmetics Indonesia to close its online stores

NYX Cosmetics Indonesia announced on their Instagram account that they will be closing all of their online stores on Friday, 8 January 2021. Nyx Cosmetics, subsidiary of L'Oréal, will be closing their online stores in Shopee, Lazada, Tokopedia, Sociolla, JD.id and Blibli.

Once the online stores are closed, NYX Cosmetics products can be purchased through international shipments on Amazon, ASOS and LOOKFANTASTIC. The closing is presumed to be the effect of sales drop due to COVID-19 pandemic, as they temporarily closed their offline stores in America indefinitely.

“This is not a goodbye! Let’s stay in touch through @nyxcosmetics for our latest updates,” as NYX Cosmetics Indonesia wrote on their caption, thanking their community for the love and support they have received throughout the years.

The physical stores will remain open. No further statements were made by the company’s representative until this news is published.
