FFI 2021: “Penyalin Cahaya” wins 12 awards, list of winners

Indonesia Film Festival 2021 was held last night (10 November). “Penyalin Cahaya” won 12 awards, including Best Feature Film, Best Director, Best Leading Actor, Best Supporting Actor and Best Original Screenwriter, making it the film with the most wins this year.

“Penyalin Cahaya”, directed by Wregas Bhanuteja, had its world premiere at the 26th Busan International Film Festival in October. The film covers issue about sexual harassment, as the director hopes to spread the awareness about such issue. The film will be released on Netflix on 3 February 2022.
