Jakarta Zona Meriah: an initiative from IM3 Ooredoo to support stand-up comedians during pandemic

Who needs a good laugh to get through tough times?

If you answer yes, Jakarta Zona Meriah, a stand-up comedian show, might be able to do so. 

Supported by IM3 Ooredoo Collabonation and Jakarta Tourism and Creative Economy Agency, the show took place offline on 6 November with a limited audience and strict health protocols. The show was released online, 14 December, on Jakarta Tourism’s YouTube channel.

Initially hatched by HAHAHA Corp, the event brought together all of the company’s talent from Ernest Prakasa, Soleh Solihun, Kristo Immanuel, Muhadkly Acho, Bene Dion Rajagukguk, Ardit Erwandha, Aci Resti, Ge Pamungkas, to Arie Kriting.

The support is part of IM3 Ooredoo’s Collabonation spirit that aimed to boost creative industry workers during the pandemic. The initiative will hopefully inspire people to create artwork and pass difficult times.

Previous Collabonation activities include cross-disciplinary project involving musicians and film directors, as well as Road to Unity.
