Singer and songwriter Pamungkas embroiled in plagiarism case

Singer and songwriter Pamungkas found himself in hot water after several people on the internet pointed out the heavy resemblance between the latest visuals for his album Solipsism 2.0 and French artist Baptiste Virot’s work. Virot’s works were cropped and pasted into the visuals without any modification. In contrary to the plagiarism, Pamungkas on his Instagram story stated, “Every design of every album is based on the music.”

The artist has contacted Pamungkas and his record label Maspam Recrod and hasn’t received any replies as of now. TFR has also reached out to Pamungkas’ record label and has yet received any comment on the issue.

As of today, the singer has deleted all the visuals from his social media accounts, including Instagram and Youtube. He hasn’t addressed the matter.
