Charity organisation HOPE (Gelang Harapan) in collaboration with Stella Rissa is going to launch a t-shirt designed by the designer to raise funds for those impacted by COVID-19. The organisation also partners up with marketing company TEAMUP and retailer 113LIVE (Onethirteen Live) to promote the cause. The t-shirt titled ‘KASIH’ (giving or love) is currently available on e-commerce platform and 113LIVE store.

According to HOPE founders Wulan Guritno, Amanda Soekasah dan Janna Soekasah Joesoef, the idea to collaborate has been initiated since April 2020. Partnering up with Stella Rissa is a breakthrough for the organisation. HOPE has been collaborating with fellow fashion designer Ghea Panggabean since 2014.

“Starting from an idea after looking at the situation during COVID-19 pandemic, we finally create “KASIH” concept with a noble cause, sharing love and hope to the society in COVID-19 pandemic,” said Stella Rissa during a press conference on Saturday, 8 May.

There will be a series of activities launched to support the charity programme, including a cycling event called Cycling for Hope and talkshow on HOPE social media account. Sales of t-shirts will be donated to those impacted by COVID-19.
