​​Dion MBD releases guidebook for illustrators

Illustrator Dion MBD celebrates Illustrasee’s anniversary by releasing a guidebook for illustrators. Supported and sponsored by Datascrip Creative Tablet, Wacom Indonesia and Moselo, the book is accessible online and free of charge.

Dion said that during the pandemic, he notices that more and more people are attempting to tap into the creative industry. Some are trying to learn how to create illustrations.

The book covers a wide range of information from education, career pathways of an illustrator, industry insights, copyright, self development to mental health.

“So far, I’ve seen that the pandemic has given people the opportunity to work in the creative field. There are a lot of platforms available that provide educational content about illustration or design, but they tend to not be as holistic. Hence, we released a book that aspiring illustrators could refer to, so they could be equipped with the basic know-hows on what to prepare and how to start a career as an illustrator,” Dion explained.
