Local sportswear brand Mills to appear on FIFA 22
Indonesian local sportswear brand Mills, which produces the official kit of the Indonesian national football team, has unlocked another great achievement. The brand is slated to appear on this year’s most anticipated game, FIFA 22.
Back in May, Mills was named the official kit supplier for England football club Tranmere Rovers to replace Puma. Wandi Wanandi, the director of Santini Group, the company behind Mills, said that through this partnership, they want to help Indonesian firms, especially SMEs, penetrate the English market and eventually the global market.
The partnership paved the way for Mills to also appear on FIFA 22, as Tranmere Rovers is 1 of the 24 EFL League Two teams that have FIFA 22 official licence. With this, Mills is considered the first ever Indonesian brand to appear in a game as famous as FIFA.
Mills has also made a lot of accomplishments locally, acquiring the licence to be the official kit supplier for Indonesian football clubs, such as Bhayangkara FC, PSG Pati, Sulut United FC and Dewa United FC, as well as basketball club Bali United.
