The government announced plans to increase ticket prices to go up to Borobudur Temple to Rp750,000 for local tourists and $100 for foreign tourists. The plan to increase ticket prices is carried out in order to limit visitors due to the decline in the floor of the Borobudur Temple which has been damaged by 30% to 40%.
